Poetry in Old San Juan

Ignorance is NOT bliss. I had no idea how beautiful San Juan is; nor how fascinating Old San Juan is. Strolling the streets it’s another beautiful vista or enthralling person or breathtaking scene. This statue is near Fort San Felipe del Morro and the 100-foot high bluff guarding the entrance to the harbor. I was like a kid in a candy shop … “look, there are kids playing in a fountain,” … “wait, over there, that cemetary” … I’m a real blast to travel with.
